The first shot was taken first thing in the morning on the last day of Desert Ridge Stake Pioneer Trek. The moon was still high and the picture turned out kinda sweet. The next shot was just as the sun broke over the eastern skyline. The smoke from the cook fires lingered between the Cactus. What an amazing experience the Trek was!

Joseph Smith's Birth Place in Sharon Vermont
As many of you know I love Brother Joseph! This first shot is one I took driving up to his birthplace in Sharon Vermont. It was so beautiful! This picture truly doesn't do it justice! The next shot was taken as I went exploring around the area. I'm often like a kid exploring neat places imagining what it was like to be there with Alvin, Hyrum and Joseph. Joseph was only six years old when his family moved to Lebanon New Hampshire, twenty miles away. However I like to imagine that they played on this old rock wall! A bit corny I know, but how cool would that be?

The City By The Bay
As the Sun set and the Moon came up I sat from my look out half way across the Bay Bridge. As you leave Oakland, and cross the Bay Bridge toward San Fransisco, you reach a small Island in the bay. Yerba Buena Island houses an old Coast Guard base. If you are willing to hike a little ways you can find a great spot for a shot of the city. I literally snapped hundreds of shots, but this one was my favorite that night.

This is Kendree’s “Ultimate Favorite In The Universe” shot of mine. I hope you like it too!
While on a sales trip to Kalispell Montana, I was driving up Highway 93 just North of Flat Head Lake and just south of Kalispell, when I saw this scene. I thought it was breath taking! The contrast of the colors of the fall foliage and the cloudy sky really made the old red Barn stand out. I simply pulled over on the side of the road, much to Joey Golden's (my customer) surprise, and snapped about twenty shots. I find that some of my favorite shots are completely unplanned.

Since the "Band Wagon" is going my way....
Blogging seems to be a great way to share your thoughts and feelings. Those of you who know me also know that I rarely need a venue to share my thoughts and opinions! I can be a bit out-spoken I'm told. (my wife loves that about me!) I really doubt that I'll take the time to type my insights out for the world to see. But I do plan on adding a picture and a location aday. (Well as often as I feel like it) Thats the greatest thing about a Blog! If you don't like it you don't need to come back!
