As many of you know I love Brother Joseph! This first shot is one I took driving up to his birthplace in Sharon Vermont. It was so beautiful! This picture truly doesn't do it justice! The next shot was taken as I went exploring around the area. I'm often like a kid exploring neat places imagining what it was like to be there with Alvin, Hyrum and Joseph. Joseph was only six years old when his family moved to Lebanon New Hampshire, twenty miles away. However I like to imagine that they played on this old rock wall! A bit corny I know, but how cool would that be?

Since the "Band Wagon" is going my way....
Blogging seems to be a great way to share your thoughts and feelings. Those of you who know me also know that I rarely need a venue to share my thoughts and opinions! I can be a bit out-spoken I'm told. (my wife loves that about me!) I really doubt that I'll take the time to type my insights out for the world to see. But I do plan on adding a picture and a location aday. (Well as often as I feel like it) Thats the greatest thing about a Blog! If you don't like it you don't need to come back!

Beautiful!!!
Alan and I visited Sharon a few years ago and were just amazed at how strongly you feel the spirit the second you drive on to the grounds. One of my brothers served as a missionary in that area and has some incredible stories of people who felt the same way when they arrived, not knowing where they were going, and were baptized shortly afterwards.
